Eclipse season is here folks! In this season, groups of two or three eclipses occur during all new and full moons for about two months. Eclipses occur when the sun is within eighteen degrees of one of the moon’s north or south nodes, or geometric points along the moon’s orbit.
Astrologically, the moon speaks to our subconscious world and the sun is our essence both individually and collectively. These nodes relate to our karmic path. At moments where these two connect in the sky, from our vantage point on Earth, we can catch a glimpse of what our purpose might be.
While these cosmic points line up to unveil our karmic destiny, they can create a lot of unpredictability and chaos as they ‘speed up time’ so to speak. So it’s definitely a time to enjoy what we have, hold tight, and most importantly listen.
Eclipse season started on May 26 with a lunar eclipse and this month brings us a solar eclipse on June 10, during the new moon in Gemini.
