Players Gotta Play: Inside the Aud’s Overnight Transformation

On June 28, 2016, the National Basketball League of Canada announced a new franchise in southern Ontario: the KW Titans. The team plays across Ontario and eastern Canada, including 20 regular season home games at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium. Perhaps better known as the home of the Kitchener Rangers hockey team, the Aud undergoes a substantial transformation before every Titans home game. City staff typically start the conversion process around 8 p.m., working into the early hours of the morning to install the professional grade court.
