KW Solidarity March for Black Lives Matter

Thousands gathered on June 3, at 5:00 p.m. for the KW Solidarity March for Black Lives Matter which was held in downtown Kitchener to peacefully protest in solidarity for the lives lost to police brutality and racial injustice.

The march was organized by community leaders: Selam Debs, Carla Beharry, Aaron Francis, Eden Mekonen, Lang Ncube, Fitsum Areguy, Fiqir Worku, African Caribbean Black (ACB) Network WR, Black Lives Matter – Waterloo Region and African Community Wellness Initiative (ACWI).
