COSMIC RELIEF: A CHAOTIC SPOOKY SEASON AHEAD

Cosmic Relief: A Chaotic Spooky Season Ahead

With the spooky season upon us, October also brings us a few transits that will challenge our inner world. As mentioned last month, Mars will be moving in retrograde this year, a transit that occurs every two years. This will happen just before Halloween, on Oct. 20. When Mars stations retrograde in Gemini, it will be a time in which you’ll have to work a little harder to communicate and relate to others. You may find yourself being more impatient and impulsive, but it is a great time to begin to understand any underlying obstacles coming in the way of your passions and drive. This transit will last a little over two months, so brace yourself.

Adding to the turbulence, we will also witness the final eclipse of 2022, closing off an eclipse cycle which began on Apr. 30. This year, eclipses occurred on the Taurus and Scorpio axis. These eclipses will significantly impact anyone with Scorpio or Taurus placements in their natal chart. For others, they will stir up insecurities, feelings and any unresolved issues involving possessions, values and sexuality.

Our annual transition into the darker months may feel like a catapult this year. We can expect the spooky season to be charged with stormy, sexual and intense energy.

To help you navigate these waters, here is another cosmic playlist to put a spell on your October launch into Mars retrograde, as well as some guidance based on your sun and rising signs.

ARIES

You may feel like the rug has been swept from under you and may have a shorter fuse than usual. Your trusted partnerships will be asking a lot of you too, so gear up for some crisis management.

TAURUS

Expect some shake-ups in your social circle and focus required from work obligations. Money is doing some crazy things for you; don’t be surprised if some financial ideas sprout.

GEMINI

You may feel like you are the centre of an unpredictable circus, but, luckily, humour is one of your best qualities. Take that chaotic energy and fuse it into something creative and clever.

CANCER

You feel like the plans you’ve been scaffolding this year are seemingly moving backwards. Curling back into your crab shell this month into a self-care routine is the best move forward while the chaos plays out.

LEO

You will have a lot to say about a lot of things. If you’re okay with the drama that may ensue, shout it from the rooftops! It’s likely you’ll be pushing quite a few buttons, so, if you wish to vocalize your opinions, proceed with caution.

VIRGO

Your investments are starting to pay off this month, even if you feel like some of your long-term goals require some replanning. Lean on those trusted friends and partners this month if you feel uneasy.

LIBRA

Things may feel like they are revolving around you this month, and you feel a little unprepared for the spotlight. Saddle up, though; there is an adventure brewing that will ask you to take the reins.

SCORPIO

Things around you are chaotic, but somehow you are feeling more centered than others. So, grab your glass of wine, settle into your favourite leather chair, and enjoy the show.

SAGITTARIUS

Your social calendar is bursting at the seams, and you’re craving to replenish in solitude. That will come soon for you, but expect some obligations to take centre stage this month.

CAPRICORN

Your mind is buzzing with new ideas, but you’ll feel the weight of work and your professional obligations. Scheduling some much-needed playtime is essential for you this month.

AQUARIUS

Whatever is going on around you these days, you are over it. That which was motivating you is losing steam, and you’ll be looking for a new muse for inspiration.

PISCES

You feel very overwhelmed and could use some personal space. Things have been a whirlwind, and you need to find your footing again. Self-care is the theme for this month.
