B@THEMUSEUM Permanently Closed

Breaking: B@THEMUSEUM has permanently closed. In a media release, Billie-Anne Arthur, managing director, B Hospitality / Cambridge Hotel & Conference Centre said “We wish THEMUSEUM every success as they navigate their way through these unprecedented times.”

B opened in THEMUSEUM space in 2015. They were part of The B·Hospitality family of brands which includes the Cambridge Hotel & Conference Centre, B·Elegant Catering & Event Planning, The Bruce Craft House, B@THEMUSEUM, and The Bruce Caboose Food Truck.

According to their website, “B@THEMUSEUM [was] all about delicious, local eats and brews. With ingredients from your own back yard, 10 rotating taps of Ontario’s finest beer, and local music — B@THEMUSEUM [was] all about the community.”

Over the years B hosted popular community food events like their annual Taco Fest, and Mac and Cheese Festival, and weekly BYOV (bring your own vinyl) Sundays.

“I am sorry for the community who will lose a wonderful gathering space in the downtown,” David Marskell, CEO of THEMUSEUM said in the statement.

THEMUSEUM stated they are “considering options for the space in context of new ways to reinvent itself.”
