So, first of all I just want to say thanks to everybody who has taken the time to vote in the Best of Waterloo poll. The response has been amazing. Today, just a week and a day after nominations opened, we have over 600 votes.
Secondly, looking at the nominations has made us realize we’re going to have to take another step. Some of these categories are simply too close for us to call. Others, we need more input in. So on July 24, we are going to take the top three nominations from select categories and do a second round of voting. This time, you’ll just get to choose your favourite from the cream of the crop.
In the meantime, keep sending us your nominations. Looking through them all just reminds us how truly awesome our little region is.
